Video games, good or bad?

Millions of people all around the world have played video games or are still playing them, whether it's candy crush on your phone or a competitive shooter on your computer. I'm not here to give you reasons to play games or reasons to not play games I'm only here to share my personal opinion. There are a lot of people who think video games are a problem and people should not play them because of the violence or because of how easy it is to become addicted and in some cases, those group of people are right nobody wants there seven-year-old shooting cops in grand thief auto 5, or there sixteen-year-old playing Xbox or PlayStation for 5 hours a day but I just wish some people would be more optimistic. I personally really enjoy playing whether it was after a long day of work or maybe it's my day off I usually can't wait to grab my controller and headphones and hop on with some friends, Speaking of friends gaming has helped me out so much with being anti-social I play with a hundred people a day and in some games I play communication is key in fact, one of my closest friends I've never even met, I've known him for 3 years we met from playing Xbox and because of all these people I've met my social skills in real-life interactions have improved so much. Gaming has also helped me with a lot of stress before I used to live in a stressful environment but then I started gaming and found out right away it was a passion I have and quickly became in love with it when things were really bothering me or stressing me out that day I would make sure I at least played for an hour and while I play I make sure I block out all the stuff that's bothering me and I know some people will say I'm trying to avoid my problems, but that's not it at all it's like taking a break or meditating. Everyone has their own way of dealing with stress whether it's reading or listening to music but I definitely think relaxing and playing your favorite game is a great way to relieve stress. But at the end of the day this is my own opinion I wonder what you guys and girls think about video games?
